Congratulations to our lovely Jo and her husband, Peter on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Jack.

Welcome back to Russell Purchon, who will be returning to us over the Christmas New Year period and covering for Estelle. Vanessa is working her regular hours.

A reminder that it's our 9th Annual Toys for Adjustment Day on December 3rd plus, this year, we are adding a food drive for the Whitley Bay Food Bank. Clients who have an appointment scheduled on December 3, will have their usual fee waived in exchange for a toy or a non-perishable food item.

... and a competition!
Our tenth anniversary event was a great success. It was lovely to see you all and thanks again for your support over the years. It seems that Naturally Chiropractic bags have now been seen as far south as Sherborne visiting the Abbey. Where has yours been? Email us a photo and the three most interesting images will win their owner a free adjustment! Entry by January 2nd, please.
Christmas indulgence!

OK, it's that time of year.
We will all over-do things,
no matter how good our intentions, so try to substitute in a few healthy options.

With a drink like this, you can hardly believe it's good for you – and it is – so feel free to be very merry and spike it with a little rum, brandy or whiskey.

Dairy free egg nog

Ingredients...
3 egg yolks
2 cups coconut milk
1 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
1 tbs vanilla extract
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Whisk egg yolks until they lighten in colour. Mix in the coconut sugar slowly (syrup or honey) then add the coconut milk, the vanilla extract and the spices and stir. Next, heat the mixture in a saucepan over medium low heat. Taste and add a little extra honey if needed. Stir constantly and allow it to thicken but careful not to rush or you'll end up with scrambled egg nog. When it coats a spoon the mixture is done. Let it cool before refrigerating.
