Recently, Estelle was asked to submit an article to Living North magazine for their Health and Wellness supplement. It was included in the January issue.
Over the last few months, there have been a lot of articles in the media, which highlight that a vast number of chronic health issues are lifestyle related. Estelle's focus for this feature was on how chiropractic care can help both your brain and your body to adapt better to your environment.
You can read the full article here or in the magazine, of course. If you would like to know more, drop in to the practice or book an appointment.

We're pleased to welcome Jo back to work. She has had the most amazing month in Montreal as her husband, Peter is a pilot. He was seconded to a Canadian airline. Luckily Jo and baby Jack got to go along for the ride.
All the same, we are pleased she is back with us and will be working Tuesday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.
and back at home.
It's Valentine's Day this month and we all know that a few treats are in store. Roses are traditional and very good for both mind and spirit. Chocolate though is probably first choice for most of us. To keep it healthy, only buy the best dark chocolate (milk chocolate is full of additives) or try one of these simple and delicious recipes. Hand-made is so much more special, too.
1 cup of sliced almonds on a baking sheet and toast for 5 minutes at 300ยบ until golden. While hot, pour into a mixing bowl with 1 cup of dark chocolate chips and stir until the chocolate is melted. Drop teaspoonfuls onto a lined tray, sprinkle with coarse sea salt and wait until cool. Done!
Melt a block of dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa) slowly in a pan. Add 28gms of coconut oil and a dash or rum, brandy or similar. Dip individual raspberries (or strawberries) to halfway up the fruit and sit on a lined tray. Decorate with fresh mint leaves and leave until cold.
